STARTING

We start with a white page –
with nothing –
we start by removing the veil –
we start a process of discovery –
we start the one of understanding
the ways of the tool –
its fundamentals –
and those of what it shows –
such as, with blue, red and yellow,
plus some white and black,
all tones can be rendered –
we start by learning why we create
as we do –
and why we create
the way we do –
we start by appreciating
that there is no such thing
as a world of art
from where we need to find a door
so to enter and belong -
we start by realizing
that creation needs us.
